It was a delight to go on family holidays with Len. He always brought along all the qualities he is well known for (humour, kind heartedness, sense of adventure, caring etc). This photo is from a holiday on the West Coast of Ireland. Len being Len "I'll just paddle quietly around the harbour" was never going to be I'll just.........

Then there was Len's face in the restaurant when after a very long wait for his sticky ribs starters - with no food arriving other than a finger bowl - a waitress cleared the table and asked how we had all enjoyed our meals! Well - "the soup was a bit thin and we could have done with 5 straws"!
