This site has been refreshed to launch 'LEN'S LIGHT' - our vision going forwards to throw light on the mental health / suicide issues faced by the rural community, with our focus very much on 'positive' mental health. We will continue to fundraise for the 3 charities which do so much work to support farmers and young people.
The official launch of Len's Light was at Kenilworth Show 2023. Our mission is to ensure that:
no-one in the rural community feels isolated or alone
- a message that was relayed by tractor around England, Scotland and Wales, building on the 5 a day challenge for which over 20,000 wallet-sized cards have been issued so far.
We have set up 'Len's Light' Facebook & Instagram pages so you can catch up with all the latest news and developments.
We want to thank so many people, so much, for their kind support and generosity following the tragic loss of Len. We could never have achieved so much without you and want Len's Light to be a beacon of hope as we try, in return, to give something back to the rural community.

2023
As the year draws to an end we are again amazed at so much support, so many fund raising events and at so much evidence of farmers opening up and talking about suicide prevention.
It meant so much to us to have such support for our John O'Groats to Lands End tractor run. It would not have been possible without generous sponsors to help with the practical costs of that adventure (from a hot meal, tank of diesel, to a bed for the night). As Len's Light is not a charity - the fund raising donations all go direct to the 3 charities we support.
We would love to hear from anyone who feels able to support us with sponsorship for the costs of running future events.
Latest fund raisers on behalf of Len's Light include:
Southam College who are supporting Len's Light & the Teenage Cancer Trust in 2023/24. Students have been busy with running, baking, selling, triathlon etc. So far raising an amazing £5.7K of their £10k target.
Sheepy District Ploughing Association with a 2 day festive tractor run - raising over £20K to date for Lens Light, local Air Ambulance and Birmingham Children's Hospital.
Along with many more.

What a fantastic son, who touched everyone's heart. An inspiration of love, life and warmth. He was and always will be our best friend as well as our son.
We held a small private ceremony on what would have been Len's birthday. We now feel the time is right to move on and concentrate on celebrating Len's life and achievements.

Kindly donated by the Lutterworth Ladies NFU group.
Purchased sheared sheep no 660 for £660 then put it straight back up for action again
I am unable to join the NFU talk by Len's parents tonight in Lutterworth so I'm donating online. Thank you for all you do.
