I have been lucky enough to never have to lose someone close to me, until now, and it hurts in a way I can't explain. I don't think Len would have even considered me a friend but I did him. He was always full of kindness and would stand up for what he believed in. I am honoured to have been in his tutor group and spend time with him at Southam's got talent/music events. School wasn't easy, and Len helped me in ways he probably couldn't imagine. I had been suffering with a whole realm of personal issues and mental health struggles, and Len always spoke to me with such an understanding, mature, hopeful energy, which saved me on more than one occasion. Thank you Len, for being you. You made my life better by being in it. X
